Identifying episodes of Bullseye

Part 6. More comparisons.

On this page, we will look at the different traditional dart boards and surrounds that appeared in Bullseye:

The traditional board

In series 1 of Bullseye, the dart board's colours are black, beige, red and green. You can see an impression on the board where the logo used to be. I think it says "Nodor", but I can't be sure.

In series 2, the colours of the board were black, beige and red. I don't know the make.

Series 3: This is literally the same board as in series 2. The board has been rotated so that the segment that was at 2 is now at 20.

Series 4: This is the same design as in series 2 and 3. Notice how series 2, 3 and 4 have a beige segment for the 20 while all the others have a black segment.

In series 5, the board had the colours black, beige, red and green. This is a Nodor Supabull.

Series 6: Black, beige, red and green. I think the symbol under the 3 is for a Winmau Diamond.

Series 7: Same as 6.

Series 8: Same as 6 and 7.

Series 9: Black, beige, red and green. Faint diamond symbol under the 20. Winmau Diamond.

Series 10: Same as 9.

Series 11: Black, beige, red and green. 'Winmau' (with inverted commas).

Series 12: Same as 11.

Series 13 and 14: Black, beige, red and green. Winmau without inverted commas.

In summary, series 2, 3, 4 don't have any green in the board. All the other series do. Series 5 is a Nodor Supabull. Series 7, 8, 9, 10 appear to be Winmau Diamonds. Series 11 and 12 have clear 'Winmau' text with inverted commas. Series 13 and 14 have Winmau text without inverted commas.



 

The traditional board surround on episodes of Bullseye

The surrounds for the traditional boards were as so:

Series 1: White segments with a red and green border around the outside.


Series 2: White segments with just a red border around the outside.


Series 3: Same as 2.


Series 4: Same as 2 and 3.


Series 5: Same as 2, 3, and 4, but with a blue neon light around the outside.


Series 6: A red spider's web pattern.


Series 7: A blue spider's web pattern.


Series 8: Same as 7.


Series 9: Same as 7.


Series 10: Same as 7.


Series 11: Same as 7.


Series 12: Same as 7.


Series 13 and 14: Same as 7.


In summary, series 1: white middle, red and green outside. Series 2, 3, 4: white middle, red outside. Series 5: white middle, red outside, blue neon lights. Series 6: red spider's web. Series 7 onwards: blue spider's web.
