Identifying episodes of Bullseye

Part 2. Comparisons.

For the next few pages, we will look at a comparison of key features on Bullseye. These are helpful in distinguishing between series. On this page, there are very rough plans of the sets for each series. These are based on what is actually visible on the shows.

Plans of the sets

Series 1:

Series 2. The floor is never shown entirely, and it usually looks as if it is made up of just red-grey-black circles.

Series 3. Again, the floor is never shown entirely. It usually looks as if it is just red-grey-red-grey circles, but there are actually some loops there too.

Series 4. The first series with red and beige interlocking circles. Only in this series are there black crosses over them:

Series 5. The first series where the audience is visible all the time:

Series 6:

Series 7:

Series 8. The first series with a platform for the throwing seats:

Series 9:

Series 10. The first series in which the audience is much larger:

Series 11. The only series with a red and beige platform, and the first series with a red and black floor design:

Series 12. The marks for where to stand are on the red segment of the floor design. The white line on the oche mat is right at the end. The black and red segments under the thrower seats don't have silver lines.

Series 13 and 14. The marks are not on the red segment. The white line on the oche is set in from the end of the mat. The black and red segments under the seats have silver lines along the edges.
