If you are interested, signs that the pictures could only have come from the series that they came from are:
Series 1: There is the red and green order-of-play board behind Cliff. The order-of-play board only appears in series 1 and 2, and in series 2, it has no green in its design.
Series 2: ...
Series 2 Christmas: ...
Series 3: There are red-grey-red-grey circles on the floor. (Series 2 had red-grey-black circles, series 1 had grey circles, series 4 had beige and red interlocking circles.) The oche mat has 4 lines on it, and this is the only series when that happened without the audience being constantly visible.
Series 4: The traditional dart board is on the right of the set, which only happened in series 4.
Series 5: The surround for the traditional board is white and red with blue neon around the outside. Series 2, 3, and 4 had the same design but without the neon. Series 6 onwards had a spider's web design.
Series 6: The surround for the traditional board is a red spider's web design. This only appeared in series 6.
Series 7: There are double semi-circles at the bottom of the stairs at the same time as the traditional board has a blue spider's web design.
Series 7 Christmas: There are double semi-circles at the bottom of the stairs at the same time as the traditional board has a blue spider's web design. The Christmas aspect is indicated by the colourful neon shapes.
Series 8: There is a grey sofa on a blue platform.
Series 9: There is a blue sofa on a blue platform, and the central part of the audience is about the same width as the platform.
Series 10: There is a blue sofa on a blue platform, and the central part of the audience is much wider than the platform.
Series 11: There is a red and beige platform for the thrower seats.
Series 12: Jim Bowen has his microphone clipped to his suit lapel. (In all the other series, it is clipped to his tie.)
Series 13: The white line on the oche mat is about 6 inches from the end, which only occurs in series 13 and 14. (There is no way to distinguish between series 13 and 14 as the sets are identical.)
